Kara’s Thoughts For August 2010

Hi everyone, welcome to my column.

Currently it is a period of looking within ourselves to find answers to our own questions. If you remain positive with your attitude in what you say and do, then life will start to turn around very quickly and productively for you.

Try to take some time out to spend with children to bring out your own inner child. Just let go with the emotions and enjoy life’s daily pleasures. With spring coming up quickly, we need to start to plan so we can put our goals into order. What is it that you really want in your life? Evaluation and prioritising is very important right now.

Think things through before making a decision instead of jumping the gun on what others may have told you. Be very cautious where you get your advice from and if you need professional advice, then make sure you follow it through, or there may be a little bit of regret in the future.

If you feel any sense of failure from the past, then it is time to put your best foot forward and create new things for your future. Unexpected surprises are surrounding you. Be prepared for people dropping in unexpectedly, or hearing from someone who you haven’t heard from for a long time.

If you are looking for a job change, then this is the time to consider it. Keep an eye on anything that you buy, as there may be some hidden costs that you haven’t allowed for. Money is a little tight, so be careful with unnecessary spending.

Keep an eye on health, as this is a time where fruit and vegies and vitamins need to be strong in your diet. Your energy levels will feel like they are a little up and down then normal, so try to have plenty of rest and sleep.

If you get an opportunity to go to a retreat or do any self-help seminars, then take the chance and enjoy some time of learning and understanding. If not, then try to read uplifting spiritual stories. Family and friends will need some help, whether it’s with something personal, or just needing a hand to do things for them. Compassion is strong within you and you will be helping everyone right now. Try to take it easy too, as back and shoulders need to be watched.

Try not to go bull at a gate to get everything done, just remember that Rome wasn’t built in a day. Sit back and just let things unfold naturally without any major effort. See you next month
